I began my career at L’Espalier in Boston. A fore runner in the farm to table movement in the U.S. Since then I have worked at Omni Hotel in Charlotte, Hotel Roanoke in Roanoke Virginia, Executive Chef of Twin City Quarter in Winston-Salem where I was part of a chef team that made it to the state semi-finals of the Competition Dining Series. As well as working at restaurants and hotels around the mid-south. I have spent the last 5 years with my own consulting business. Traveling from Northern California, to Up State New York, New York City, Florida, and many locales in between.

Our goal at Clementine’s is to create wholesome healthy dishes. You will recognize all of our ingredients be it on a golden piece of toast as the vessel, a healthy grain bowl topped with fresh fruit and berries, or one of our straight forward fruit first smoothies. Lets begin 2021 on the right foot together, and healthy tasty food to nourish our bodies.

Executive Chef Andre Jones

Chef Andre Jones quickly rose through the ranks in Milwaukee kitchens, working for some of the most lauded chefs. He has also completed stages at both Benu is San Francisco, CA, and Canlis in Seattle, WA. His knives and skills have been sharpened in restaurants like The Wild Boar in Nashville, TN, and the Grove Park Inn in Asheville, NC.

Chef Andre Jones brings with him a refreshing sense of culinary passion to Clementines. His diverse background allows him to create dishes that are at the same time upscale, yet down-to-earth. Chef Andre Jones' approach to cooking is to keep dishes seasonal, honest, and playful by blending together bold and unexpected flavors. He combines classic French techniques with his love of international food and culture, making him an artist of cuisines from around the world.

"I think a restaurant has to have an identity," Chef Andre Jones says "and that's something you carve out over time."

Our Namesake: Clementine Churchill

Clementine Churchill was the wife of Sir Winston Churchill. Known as a girl of lively intelligence and great character,  Clementine was much more than just a politicians wife.  Most notably to us, during the first world war, Clementine organized canteens for munitions workers. We like to thing she'd be tickled that we're continuing her tradition of feeding folks good food to start their day. 

While Sir Winston is recorded as consuming for a single breakfast two eggs, ham, chicken, coffee, toast butter, marmalade, two oranges and a glass of juice... we'll let you decide just how big or small you'd like to make your breakfast or brunch.
